Good news, the head is almost completely normal now, with just a slight ridge where he was pushing against the pelvis.

But not of DeAndra. When I tried to take pictures of her belly, she tried to kill me. But lucky for me she is so tired from labor that she could barely tighten her fingers around my neck.

We are pretty excited! DeAndra is doing great and in good spirits.

The poor guy lodged into her pelvis a little funny, and that kept him from dropping during contractions. When they pulled him out, he looked like he had an alien head. But luckily his head is rounding out. Good for him, the kid is going to have a hard enough time in life being my son, he doesn't need a freakish head.

Belly Picks...Stop your whining

He'll get here when he gets here! The good news is DeAndra's mom, Lisa, showed up on Saturday and so now DeAndra is more willing to go walking and do her exercises to get him out. For some reason Lisa is more "supportive" and "understanding" than I am. I think she is just being silly, and should just plop that kid out already. I am getting sick of this kid disobeying me, and I think that DeAndra needs to quit making her uterus such a comfy place for him to live. This kid needs to buck up, and force his way down the birthing canal, and listen to me!! And DeAndra needs to cut the cord and stop pampering him. Quit the free lunches and stop letting him sit in the hottub all day. This is getting silly, and if she's not going to push, then I will!

Eight days til pitchers and catchers report, which means that in eight days I hopefully won't have to worry about the Mariners making anymore dumb deals. I mean, come on, what are they thinking? Am I the only that thinks that they are being stupid? Really? Am I the only one seeing this? I feel like I'm taking crazy pills!!

Still No Rock Sighting

Sorry folks, still no Rock sighting. Either he's a little shy, or DeAndra doesn't want to share him with me and so she's keeping him locked up inside her uterus. But according to his ultrasound pics he's not very shy:
But at the same time, it's pretty clear that DeAndra isn't very comfortable right now...so I don't know why he's not here yet. So I guess we'll just leave him in and let him ripen up just a little more. The hospital has a wireless connection, and so hopefully we will be able to update the blog soon after he enters the world.
