200th Post Spectacular!!!

It's hard to believe that we have already reached the 200 posts on the blog (DeA adds: 4 of them were funny ones!). To commemorate this special occasion, I got DeAndra some tulips. It just so happened that the tulips also served as 'just because' flowers, and girls like stuff like that.
Now, on to the real story for today: Rock's Journey to the mystical land called Tennessee to meet his lil' lady. He was pretty excited to go see her, so he tried to load up his favorite toys.
He didn't understand why Mommy didn't think that Macey would want to play with a Tonka Truck. It made him wonder if why anyone would want to hang out with girls if they don't appreciate the awesomeness of Tonkas.

Next he practiced his rebellious stare out into the horizon. Chicks dig that 'tough guy' routine. Why? Who knows...
Well, it was finally about time to leave, and Rock was getting pretty excited to get in the plane and fly down to Macey.
"What do you mean we are driving? That's a long way..."
We finally corralled Rock and got him into the carseat. The first part was pretty easy, since he got to munch on delicious Ritz and cheese sandwiches.

The little guy tried to get some rest. He wanted to be nice and fresh for his lady.
The most important thing? Brushing your teeth. If there is one thing that girls hate, it's Ritz and cheese cracker breath.
Rock was so worked up in the car that by the time we got to Memphis he was all tuckered out. It worked out well though, since Macey was sleeping soundly when we got there.
The poor little guy was just so sleepy, and he was embarrassed to have waffle face from the carpet when he finally did meet her.
There she is, his little gal!
Our little lady killer suddenly became all shy and timid. He claimed to be awestruck by her beauty, but I personally think he was humiliated by his dirty diaper.
One of the cool things that we got to experience was Macey's blessing. Here is Dr. Scoresby holding his little girl.
There was some tension at the blessing, when a little love triangle tried to form. Little Afton tried to put the moves on little Rock. It was probably because everyone kept telling her that Rock was Macey's property, and therefore was off limits. Naturally, she was attracted to the forbidden fruit.
This picture is a dry run of the future wedding picture. Imagine the temple in the background and the kids not being held.

"Hey, hands off! She's mine!"

"Welcome to the family, cuz."
"Wait, what do you mean I have to ride all the way home? NOOOOO!!!!"
Thanks Ben and Shannon for letting us come!!
