Our Lives

Ryker likes to start his day by chilling on the couch and catching up on the previous day's stock quotes. The days haven't been blockbuster days lately, mostly because of his Blockbuster stock has been tanking.
At the same time Rock will eventually find his way to the table whatever Dad's put there. Sometimes he'll mistake leftovers from the night before for breakfast, and those days don't go well.
But today wasn't one of those days. Today was a good day.
Later Rock gets put outside to roam free, and Mommy and Ryker sleep on the couch.
After a while Rock realizes that he and his trucks aren't getting enough attention. This is not a good situation, and so he makes us take pictures of his trucks and tell them how much we love them.
He is very particular in how we take the pictures, and he positions the vehicles just so.
After he gets the trucks enough attention, he takes over the picture situation. He likes to take pictures of the best looking thing in the house.
Sometimes he will let someone else take pictures, but the subject matter doesn't change.
Eventually he will get his fill of his own pictures and starts to take pictures of Ryker...and his own feet.
After a while Mommy steps in and takes the pictures herself. Rock doesn't mind if Ryker has his picture taken, as long as Rock is in it also.
Eventually all of Rock's energy is burned out in the sandbox, the table and running in circles around Mommy while she tries to clean. That's when Ryker finally gets to chill comfortably on the couch without fear of plastic baseball bats to the head.
Rock's nap time is also a good time for Ryker to get some attention from the camera.
Luckily this teaches Ryker to love attention as much as Rock does, and if history has taught us anything, it's that nothing goes wrong when two brothers both want all the attention.
"Oh, he wants some attention? Bring him here and I'll let my left fist (I call him Thunderjack) show him attention!"
"Oh, he's at Mawma and Bampa's house? YES!! I rule the house!!"

  1. Guess we will have to charge the camera for Rock's breakfast shoot. Right now he is sleeping like a little angel.
